Modeling and Analysis of Surface Roughness Parameters in Drilling of Silk-glass/epoxy Composite

In the recent past, demand for multifunctional and lightweight materials have increased steadily creating an increase in Hybrid polymer matrix composite which consists multiple fibers conventional resins. this study, a hybrid comprising of two reinforcements - natural silk fiber E-Glass Epoxy resin is partially eco-friendly has been fabricated effect drilling, by using 8 facet solid carbide drill, on surface roughness studied. Taguchi�s L27 Orthogonal array was used experimentation modifying three parameters feed rate, spindle speed drill diameter levels (low, medium high) thereby studying effects. From results it observed that reduces however increases with rate. Further, regression analysis Fuzzy modeling are order to determine optimum parameter values get desired finish. Good agreement between experimental, fuzzy model correlation coefficient 0.9814 0.9677 respectively.
